Djose, 3rd night
Here we sit, me and Myst before the Al Bhed post. Though I'm sure the Inn beds would be more cozy, I opted to camp outdoors. I want to save all gil I have to buy equipment for our trip to Zanarkand. Some digging Machina and a hoist perhaps. Those are bound to be expensive. I want to find something, anything of my family in that rubble. Right now the rubble and my memories is all I have left of them.
The night is not cold and the sky is clear. We can see Ifrit's constellation right in front of us, Shiva approaches from the right. I wonder what name those stars will have now that Zanarkand is no more. A centuries old civilization gone in the blink of an eye! Whoever is responsible for this will pay, and pay dearly.
The pain of the memories gets heavy tonight. Perhaps I should just lay down, rest in the oblivion that sleep brings... This journal... Might be a bad idea for me. But someone has to tell the story of the great people from Zanarkand so I will endure. But not tonight...
